Hey Everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. Because I’ve got busy with some other stuffs over here. Anyways am back.

So, I made this for those who’re tired of connecting their Raspberry PI with Keyboard And Mouse Everytime and Trying to remember IP of it, You know it’s An  Annoying thing ain’t it?

I have collected 10 of the useful apps together, As they’re free for all android Devices.

JuiceSSH – SSH Client

One of the most annoying part in raspberry pi is connecting it with an external keyboard and mouse. For that the first thing you have to do is enabling SSH for Secure Remote Connection over a network. So that we can connect our Raspberry PI with our mobile device remotely using JuiceSSH.

The Feature of this app is pretty awesome, I Would say.

  • Full colour terminal / ssh client
  • Popup keyboard with all those normally hard to find characters
  • Use the volume keys to quickly change font size- External keyboard support
  • Gestures for irssi, weechat, tmux and screen
  • Telnet support
  • Local Android terminal support
  • Dark, Light, 80’s hacker, Molokai, Solarized Dark and Solarized Light terminal color themes
For an overview of solarized color scheme and why it rocks for terminal usage check out http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized
  • Click URLs to open in a browser
  • Copy & Paste within sessions
  • Save / Share SSH transcripts to Dropbox/Evernote/Email & SD card
  • UTF-8 character support
  • Easily organise your connections by group
  • Keep multiple SSH sessions running in the background
  • Seamlessly connect ‘via’ other SSH connections with one click
  • Immediate access when you open the app to your frequently used connections
  • IPv6 support
  • Password & OpenSSH private key support
  • RSA key generator (encryption supported)
  • SSH key agent forwarding
  • Support for two-factor authentication (eg: Google Authenticator)
  • Identities (users/password/keys) are abstracted from connections. Instead of updating every connection when you change your password – just update the identity and any connections linked to it will use the new password/key.
  • zlib compression to improve SSH sessions on high latency connections

This app is also similar to the above one, But this can Remote control and monitor your Raspberry Pi from your Smartphone or Tablet. WiFi or mobile.
It also controls some of the hard- and software extensions. In this release: PiCam/PiNoIR, PiFace Digital, PiFace CAD, Python3 and Apache2 web-server.

You can execute numerous Linux commands, remote control the the Pi and its hardware extentions, reboot (or halt) the Raspberry Pi.
All this is done via a simple user interface where you don’t have to type in commands. Just Connect, Select and Go!

You can add multiple Raspberry Pi’s. So if you have multiple Pi’s or a user account on a Raspberry Pi of one of your friends, you can connect there to.

As the Raspberry Pi has a educational purpose, the Raspi-R app has the ability to (re)create your own scripts so it helps you explore and understand the possibilities of the Raspberry Pi, Linux and it’s hard- and software extensions.

This is great app to check the performance of your Raspberry Pi computer.

RasPi Shows you the frequency, temperature, volts and more system information such as memory, runtime and disk status as well and this apps comes with a widget if you want to keep an eye on your Pi Performance and all you have to do is connecting your raspberry pi via SSH with your mobile using this application.

Yatse, the XBMC / Kodi Remotexmbx123

Kodi (formerly XBMC) is a free and open-source media player software developed by the XBMC Foundation, a non-profit technology consortium.
Kodi is available for multiple operating systems and hardware platforms, with a software 10-foot user interface for use with televisions and remote controls. It allows users to play and view most videos, music, such as podcasts from the internet, and all common digital media files from local and network storage media. Kodi is highly customizable: a variety of skins can change its appearance, and various plug-ins allow users to access online content on services such as YouTube, Spotify, Grooveshark and Pandora Radio. Versions from 12.0 (codename “Frodo”) have a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) GUI frontend for live TV with Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and high-definition digital video recorder (DVR or PVR) support. This is really awesome piece of software which let us to control our xmbc server remotely using our android device.
